So I work as a photographer and have to endure the lovely Alberta weather on average about -10 to -30. I have a pair of normal snowboarding gloves however they are actually too bulky. As I have to open latches for hoods and doors and push buttons etc.
Does anyone have any experience with a good dextrous glove that can handle the cold temps.. or any experience with liners??

NorthFace has great gloves for all that you mentioned. They can be used as a liner, I had them all last winter. Give em a try

I used UnderArmor liners with and without gloves for all of last winter. Kind of awkward to drive with but great for pretty much everything else. They're similar to the North Face liners... The UA ones are a little thinner

North Face Liners FTW.
I actually also got a set with some special material on the thumb and index fingers so I could use them with my iPhone. They are snug enough to allow good dexterity, and quite warm - but of course not as warm as the full glove.

I had some Arcteryx ones with a leather palm that was pretty good in terms of keeping most functionality of fingers.
I had them on when I was in Fort Mac with their -50 weather :P

i do streetwork for bands/bars putting up posters in the winter and found MEC has a good pair of grippy outter (thin and breathable - good for summer to) and a heavy but thin inner cotton liner
