For those who have purchased a K&N Typhoon CAI

So I have found 10 sellers of the K&N CAI. The cheapest I can get shipped from the states totals $290 plus duties.

Anyone have a site they ordered from the states? How were the duties?

Or somewhere in Canada that can ship to Calgary near that price range?

NextMod? Local supporter/vendor, fantastic to deal with and will ship to you in Calgary I'm sure.
His prices are excellent and TBH half the time I never shopped him because of his level of service and communication.

+1 to nextmod. I learnt the hard way and bought from the states. Got charge duties/taxes which could have been saved if I went to a local vendor.

I bought my K&N SRI from Canadian tire....the up-front cost wasnt as low as some online vendors and ebay sellers, but once you factor in shipping / duties, it came out to slightly less than what Id be paying online. They didnt have it in stock, but I paid up front and had it within a week.

Yah I just got a price from Canadian Tire, looks like it will be the lowest price. Don't have to worry about how much duties are going to run me.

I plan on ordering one from the states and having it shipped to a storage place in montana about 20 minutes from the border, they hold anything for a couple of weeks for like 25 bucks or even less. Then it's just a short drive over and come back across decreasing shipping costs and duty charges.

I just look at k&n in sault ste marie they want 290
