My friends spend a ton of time skateboarding in Detroit, and they know this guy. You shouldn't be surprised to know that there's more to the story than what is told in this video. Obviously the kid does have a positive outlook and the moral presented by the video is a good one, but come on. You're hearing one side of a story and saying that?

I see what you are saying, and going from only what I have heard from this video, shooting someone multiple times with a shotgun is inexcusable, unless the shooter was shooting in self defense.

Even if the victim was a bully/*******/generally bad person, that is no excuse to shoot them multiple times with a shotgun.

However, if there is another side of the story that says otherwise, I would be happy to read/listen to it.

Personally, I dont care what the right was to do, if it was me and I was able to walk in on the second trial...I would have went right to the table and laid a beating on this kid...or absolutely have a hit on him when he comes out...no way I get shot 3 times, live, and not kill the b****** that did it to me...hell no. I definetely agree. We didnt get any other info, I just think its cool that, in the frame of the shooting and injuries sustained, that he pulled through and can live a fully abled life.

Yes. This happens a lot. I've been to michigan to visit friends and family a lot. I've lived in LA for a while. Yes, this happens a lot.

I agree 100%. I just made my original comment because people were wishing the perpetrator would get anal raped in prison every day for 35 years. I thought that, given the ACTUAL circumstances, those comments might be a little excessive.
If you make bad decisions, you often end up in bad situations. Hopefully this kid sees that now.

what risk are you putting your friends at? noone here is asking for names, we just want to know the situation...tell us the story, not who told you, we dont care if Frank told you we want info...real evidence that this wasnt a gang initiation shooting because I agree with n00b that this happens often...initiation is brutal and disgusting...I actually guessed that it was right after the first shot.
