Issue: I'm getting a knock when I first touch the brakes while moving in reverse. Once I've got it to knock, it won't again until I move forward, apply the brakes, then do the same thing in reverse.
History: Now I did my brakes (Pads and Rotors) this summer and everything went smoothly. I did the whole shebang. New caliper slider bushings (lubed), caliper kit... everything.
I've done some looking around, and on a couple other car forums, there's been a consensus (hell even a TSB from the dealer) that it's caused from the pads shifting in the caliper bracket. (Saab - http://www.saabcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67122&highlight=brakes+clunk+reverse)
So I took the bracket off and I can't possibly see how the pads could shift back and forth. They're in their pretty damn well. I've also verified that the housing/slider bolts are tight from the back.
Thoughts?
