only if your ps3 hasn't been updated past 3.55 then you can install cfw = custom firm ware. you lose features to go online & not game online. It's an offline ps3 that can play classic systems right now someone is working on N64 emulator for ps3 & also ps1 emu..

You can copy ps3 games&blu rays 2 ur internal hdd. I've made my hdd 500gb..

Let's put it this way not 2 make a flame war about console system. Each posses pros. & cons.


360-No laggy net play but must pay for it.
ps3-semi laggy free net play.
I don't have 2 keep buying stupid acccs. 4 xbox I can already use any bluetooth head set,batteries even 2 watch HD-dvd you had 2 buy a seperate system..HDD swaps.
If you like FPS games 360 is the way to go
If you like RPG games ps3
Blu-ray no need 2 comment there lol...
Certian games Gt-5 or Forza 4 I been a GT fan but forza looks cool.

IMO ps3 has the jump abit.... If ps3 made a mazda game you know you wouldn't be saying 360 LOL.. ZOOM ZOOM BOOM!

To be fair, its not as straight forward to "copy" the ps3 and blurays. Many of the games don't work by straight copying. You have to tweak some files.
