Simply amazing.
First photo is right after the tsunami hit, the second is 3 months after, and the last is 6 months later.

whereas in Toronto...a simple road work project @ Bayview/Eglinton can last 3 weeks, and work starts everyday @ rush hour...closing down 1/2 of Eglinton Westbound.
in Hong Kong, no road work projects lasts for more than 3 days, and they work around the clock to get shit done.

This is awesome! They must have used a lot of manpower and machine power to get the area back up again. Especially the ships that went astray and got stuck in the middle of the road.. Amazing work really. Kudos to the Japanese! :thumbsup
Truly remarkable!
Great to see people come together and rebuild their community

So true... and to add insult to injury, it takes ONE PERSON to finish road work in 3 days in HK...
And in Toronto, it takes 5-6 ppl months to do road work, well, 4-5 of them are usually watching with a coffee in hand.
