Hi all,

When looking through http://www.torontomazda3.ca/forum/showthread.php?25372-List-of-places-to-do-alignment/page2, I read that you should wait after installing new shocks and springs to do an alignment.

I am planning on installing KYB GR2's with Racing beat springs. Is there any harm in getting an alignment the same day, as I had the day off and wanted to get all of this done.

Thanks,

Andrew

Wait about a week....you have to let the shock and spring settle to fix camber and alignment

If the alignment is off after installation, could I just drive on really bumpy roads for a little while to help them settle? As my tires are quite new, do a lot of driving, and don't want to wear my tires too much? :(

You don't have to wait a whole week if you drive a lot. Just wait a few days since you do a lot of driving.

True...I would just figure a week is a good general amount of the time.
