Hey guys,
I need some quick help here. I need front pads, and went and picked some up from crappy tire. After bringing them home though, I went to double-check the part numbers and I'm pretty sure they're wrong. I bought the Monroe's. According to the Monroe website, the MS3 pads should be 915's but their computer said it was 1044's which are for the Mazda3. I made sure they had the Turbo listed. I suspect their computer is wrong.
So I was all set to return them today and go pick up some PBR's instead from NAPA. Thinking it was probably wise to double check this time around though, I checked the website and sure enough, they're listing the same part number for both Mazda3 and Mazdaspeed3.
So my ultimate question is about whether the two are physically compatible and whether the MS3 simply specifies a more aggressive compound or something.
Will these things fit or am I wasting my time?
FWIW, I'm not at all hard on my brakes so I'm looking for pads that best match my driving... which is to say high quality everyday driving pads. Consistent braking and low dust FTW. :D
