I had my coils installed a couple days ago... I believe there is like 1/2" of thread left below the pair of collars that the springs up front are sitting on... I've started thinking... Why not... I know I want moar low.. I might as well drop it down more now before I get it aligned next week.

So my first thought was.. ok.. give a little twist to both collars in opposite directions to get the pressure and weight off the lower one... twist it all the way down to the bottom, then use the coilover wrench to twist the second collar down to sit ontop of the other one, repeat on the otherside.

But i was watching some vid last night on youtube where the guy was talking about the lower collar being the height adjustment, and then upper collar (the one the spring is supported by) is used to adjust preload on the spring... so then I thought... ok.. so maybe I have to adjust the 3rd collar, the one right at the very bottom... I dunno....

If someone could please give me a quick tutorial on how to adjust the height I would really appreciate it. Sorry for being a total newb.. Im a carpenter, not a mechanic :(
