Hi!
I think it's my 1st post! I'm from Montreal, and my gf drives a 2006 3! (Coincidentally I also drive a 3, but it's got a 2.8 inline 6 ;))

Ok so first the car:
2006 Mazda 3 4-door GS 2.0L, Carbon Grey, sunroof, auto wipers, auto lights, 16in alloys.
Questions:
1. When browsing for parts online, should I look at i or S parts? I understand i and S are probably US-spec trim levels, but how does this go with Canadian-spec?
2. What are best places to get parts online? I'm generally going with autopartsway, but they have more parts for my german car than for a Mazda3, which is much more of a mainstream car. Anywhere else that's also good?

3. The brake rotors story:
- We have the 3 since 62 000km. Now it's got 82 000km. I'm pretty sure the brakes in the rear are original. They need replaced. On my car I'm driving with PBR XBG pads on Brembo blank rotors. I'm extremely satisfied with this setup. After over 2 years and 50 000km, the pads are no more than 50% worn, the rotors don't have any wear ridge and they don't even have rust spots when it rains! So I'm looking for Brembos for the Mazda3.
Now that's the problem, everywhere I've called, they can only seem to find one left in the whole country.
Then there's the problem of the part numbers. Tirerack does have Brembos, but they list the part as Brembo 25874, whereas according to the sticky brake options thread, should be 25873 as the car is a 2.0L.
So back on Autopartsway, I have the option to buy Pilenga rotors. As Brembo, they say they are High-Carbon steel, and from the tiny bits of info I can gather about them, look like they are not made in china.
But again there's a problem. When selecting 2006 Mazda3 i 2.0L, it gives me two rear rotors options from Pilenga. One looks like 10.5in diameter, the other one 12. Any way to know which is on the car appart from getting it out and measuring?

I'm a bit lost here. Any help would be useful!

Thanks!
Nick

Probably referring to a Bimmer.

Yes I was refering to a bimmer. It's a 96 3 series. But I know where to get parts for it. It's the Mazda I'm having trouble with and need help.
