It was suggested I make a new thread so I did.
This is a friend of mine's company, I have not had any work done by him but know a few people who have and have said nothing but good things.
If you are looking for another option:

I have no reason to beleive that JP will rip off anyone and do anything less than a great job.

Always love options/competition. Depending on price I might have some rims for him to do :)

Got in contact with JP about my new wheels. Great communication. Seems like a down to earth guy, I will more than likely be giving my money to him in the early new year. And his prices are amazing!

Dave, maybe your buddy should open up an account here and possibly become a sponsor. I might want to consider doing the faces on my lm's. Am curious as to what's available, type of colours, and what route to go with when powdercoating them.

Search him on FB he has a page for stripping technologies, the nice thing with him is that does a media blast and not a chemical dip. He told me he uses exterior powders for his colors, apparently some places that do funky colors use interior powder that won't hold up as well outside on a wheel.

Great guy to deal with, very good pricing.
Do they mask the hub and bore when powdercoating?

My review on Facebook:
The Toronto Mazda 3 club's group buy with Stripping Technologies Inc. has been a great success. I had been talking with STI for four months and finally it is just about wrapped up! They have patience for all your questions (and we had a lot), they are a great help and the price is amazing. They were very accommodating with all of our schedules and the complications that come along with a large group buy (I think we were up to 18 sets of wheels). They were even nice enough to allow a few more people in on the deal even after the group buy was closed. The turnaround time was great. And best of all everyone's wheels look amazing and I think everyone is very happy. I cannot wait for summer not only to get my new wheels on, but to see how all the others turned out. This was my first time helping organize a group buy and STI made it very easy! I would deal with STI again and recommend them to anyone.

had my wheels done matte bronze metallic this spring. JP helped me decide on the colour, and I'm glad I took his advice.

Had my wheels done by JP this past Winter, in Candy Teal. Love the way they came out, and the price from JP was great as well.

My GF saw Ryan's hatch in the dumped photo below and wanted them :( Lucky me haha
I Didn't have a lot of money last fall so bought a used set of OEM Gt wheels from another member. They were covered in grey chipping Duplicolour, and one had a bend which was hiding until i unmounted the tires. All had minor curb rash. They fixed the bend for an additional cost, ALL curb rash and traces of chipping paint were eliminated during sand blasting. The end result was amazing and I couldn't be happier. Cheap set of used wheels made new.

Bit of a bump.
Had my second set powder coated with Stripping Tech. and dealt mostly with Mike this time.
Mike arranged for a weekday drop off and a Dec. 27 (SAT) pickup. He called me letting me know they would be done a week early and I could pick them up on a Saturday. Ronan also texted me last night letting me know they were done. Mike gave me a more reliable number for the shop as I had an old one, Picked up the phone each time I called and left voice mails when I did not have reception at work. He was very pleasant to work with and communication was excellent this time around.
The application of coating and overall quality is slightly better than my older purple set which are still damn good. I am very impressed with their work, and their improved communication as of late. I would not hesitate to recommend the shop to friends or anyone else seeking this service.
Included several pics to show coverage and quality of work.

I had my 3rd set done 2 weeks ago. The Price is still the same, the quality is still exceptional. I Dealt primarily with Mike again on the phone to arrange pick-ups/ drop offs and JP via Facebook messaging & text.
The Wheels were held up by a shipment of acrylic clear coat but ST tracked it down and notified me every step of the way.
All moderate curb rash was fixed with sand blasting process and the wheels were powder coated ebony chrome. (Future plans for starlight purple on and a set of TE37 reps ect., on a faster future car.)
I am Very happy with this shop and I will continue to refer people here.

When switching to snow tires today: i found that 2 of my wheels are flaking around the lug nuts. I am not happy with my most recent set which was done early summer this year, and I will be reaching out to Stripping Technologies regarding this quality concern.

My car was taken to Active Green and Ross by a family member instead of my regular tire place while I was at work.... FACK
I checked each wheel last night and every one has similar damage (not nearly as bad) on the inside around the lug. The picture is just of the worst.
The damage was most likely their impact socket used by some ****, then deteriorated throughout normal use and weather..... lesson learned.
Thanks for the input, I was frustrated as you can imagine when writing the first post.

I didn't know it was going to go to active green and ross till afterwards. Yeah, I'll be avoiding them.
I can reach out to ST, but am not one to expect them to repair damage caused by another shop. I will inquire about how much the repair might be, but that's also $$$ going to tire dismounting so if its substantial, I'll cut my losses, and lesson learned.
