buying poducts online with USD funds

i bank with cibc and within in my account i have a usd account and i'm wondering if there is a way to buy online using those funds. i know i could get a us credit card but i don't want to get another one.

paypal says i can only add cad funds and if i want to add us funds to it the bank account has to be American.

anyone have any ideas on how to solve this issue? the only thing i can thing of next is to actually go to the us

Do you have a Visa card?

Can't you just use it? When I order from the US it just applies the exchange rate from that date on my bill.

If you have a PayPal account, and the merchant accepts PayPal, you can use PayPal to do a CAD to USD conversion within your PayPal account before paying for the item.

In some cases if you're paying for an item with USD funds, PayPal will even automatically convert the funds for you.

yea but i don't wanna have to do any conversions i just wanna pay with us money i guess ill just ahve to get a us cc and put us money on it asa credit and just use that.

its crazy how much cheaper meguiars products are in the us compared to canada

Your only option is to shop at a place that takes debit card.

As long as you provide your transit, account number and institution number to paypall you should be able to make purchases through your USD account.

i just tried that filled out the info off my cheques and put in my us account number instead chequing account and its say to confirm it to put input the 2 small deposits they put into the account but nothing is showing

I think it takes a few days to process, meaning PayPal doesn't send the two small deposits instantly. Someone else please chime in if I am incorrect.
