So, I'm planning on removing my stock muffler and putting Fayvir's ms3 muffler on. Using the instructions on the racing beat website do you think that doing it by myself would be feasible? It's pretty straight forward I think.

isn't the MS3 muffler cut off when it is removed? I thought it had to be welded back together, unless they didn't have to cut it again when taking it off Fayvir's car

No cutting involved, it was a bolt on when it was installed on my car. And just bolted off.
The only welding was the pipe/tip extension just for fitting purposes.
it is axle back. gaskets might be the only thing you need.

Could I not use whatever is on my original?

Gaskets are cheap.
You might as well change em while it's accessible.
Even if it is "Gasket maker in a tube". Just good to avoid any possible gas leaks
I would also double check the exhaust hangers

Where would these be available? Part Source?
Fayvir, confirm/deny that the exhaust hangers line up?

I'm thinking something like this

Should be avail at Part source / crappy tire
if you want to (or need to) replace the gaskets (x2 rings), it shouldn't be more than $5 lol. ask joe at mot.
also the exhaust hangers should be fine. the previous guys had sedan's, no?

True and I'm down there anyways tomorrow. Maybe a trip to Joe is in order

no hangers, just use the stock ones. when i got it, it was just the exhaust, no other hardware.

Oooooo I call that luxury. As per Jack stands I think MPS was selling the Michellin Jack stands (search that) for a pretty cheap price awhile back, or you can always get those drive on ramps that Cdn tire had a sale on this or last week.
