A leopard wondered into the city in India and attacked 3 people, killing one of them. This man that was "scalped" was pleading with the police to not kill the leopard and he was standing in between the leopard and police. I think he made a bad choice.

It's a little bit graphic so click at your own discretion.

You're an ass if you think the leopard is in the wrong.

The cat had no choice, but I doubt that the 4 people injured specifically deserved to be mauled.

Good on them for not killing it though.

I'll play devil's advocate here for a bit, just out of curiosity, since I find that in North America we don't really get shocked when things happen in places like India or China etc.

I mean, if some bear killed a few people in Muskoka would we be saying poor bear or would be shocked by the fact that people are dead, even if the bear is just doing what a bear does

at the end of the day, human life was lost. It's sad regardless.

I think it's a different situation. Sure we are encroaching upon animals habitat in Canada.. But you don't see people getting attacked by bears in Calgary or Toronto. These are very large cities with very very large populations laying waste to a large percentage of natural habitat.

Still, loss of human life is loss of human life was my point.

But like you said this places have massive populations and are getting out of control and humans and nature don't jive too well.

It's a real shame

So what we're saying is that the world is over populated? Which is probably the case
