GI: Toronto Raptors Meet (2012)

THIS THREAD IS TO GUAGE INTEREST AT THIS TIME

As some of you recall, I did a GB for a couple of Raptors' games last year (1 game against Los Angeles Clippers, and the other against Dallas Mavericks).

So I'll be doing another GB this year, but I wanted to gain some interest first. I'm hoping to keep this a TM3 event, but if I can't find the numbers, I'll open it up to others.

I would have planned this sooner, but I wanted to hold off to see if any further trades (knocking on Dwight Howard's door) would happen (Chris Paul going to the Clippers is something I did not see coming).

So my proposal would be one of the following 3 games:
- vs. Golden State Warriors on Sunday March 4th ($47-$66)
- vs. Chicago Bulls on Wednesday March 21st ($75-$89)
- vs. New York Knicks on Friday March 23rd ($75-$89)
*prices vary dependent on the team and day of the week. this will be for a lower bowl section

As last year, the price would include your seat for the game, as well as sideline access to the pregame practice (this is dependant on the group paying for all of the tickets in full and on time).

So again, is there any interest in any of these 3 games?!?!?

Never been much of a Basketball fan, but maybe wings & beers after the game?

If anything, I've narrowed it down to the NY Knicks game on Friday March 23rd. Not enough interest in general for the GS game, and people have voiced their concerns about the Chicago game being on a Wednesday. I'll have more info closer to the date.









**For those coming to the Boston Celtics game next week on Friday February 10th**

I have all the tickets in hand. Please call me to make arrangements for pick up.

If you're going to just the game, the gates open at 6:30pm with game starting at 7:00pm.

If you're coming to the courtside view of the pre game practice and shoot around, we're meeting at Gate 2 @ 5:00pm SHARP. We'll be sitting courtside from 5:00pm-6:00pm. You can take pictures, but please do not call over or try to talk to the players, unless they initiate the communication. I can't stress this enough..... I've seen people being asked to leave for disturbing/ interupting the players' practice time.

Yeah, looks like $16 is for the upper bowl, but the lower bowl price is still good.

But it's only good for Detroit on Wednesday February 22nd, Golden State on Sunday March 4th, Orlando on Monday March 26th, and Denver on Wendesday March 28th. I guess the amount of seats sold for those games are looking pretty low....?!?!?

The Box suites are also in the nosebleeds - I can vouch for a decent view, but cannot vouch for the seat spacing.
I doubt jonjon would be able to fit his legs in the cramped spaces, or p-o-g-i being able to squeeze inbetween the arm rests LOL (just kidding)

I don't want to commit seeing its a month away. I'm struggling right now to keep my weekends free...but its a battle I keep losing LOL. Turns out I'm State-side at least every other week for the next 2 months

Of the 30 tickets... 28 are sold. Of the 28, 6 are from TM3... and the rest are friends and/ or family that they have invited.
As the date is a month away, alot more TM3 members are inquiring now... but because I had to put the deposit to secure the tickets at that price back in January (the ticket prices jumped up in the last 2 weeks because of the whole "LINsanity"), I wanted to make sure I didn't get stuck with the entire bill. So I tried to open it up to TM3 memebers first, but when I saw that there was not enough bites, I opened it up to the family and friends of the TM3 members who were interested.

Result>>> 2 tickets of 30 left.
