Well I haven't been on lately and many things have happened. In short my mazda 3 transmission quit at 125km.... had it fixed by a shady transmission spot for $2400 so I gave it up today and got an SUV and have left Mazda. I bought a 2012 White loaded Santa Fe . Why an SUV? Well I have 2 step kids and my son is gonna be born in May. So I'll still come up and visit the site and stay in touch. I'll throw up an open mouth grille/side skirts (kenstyle) for 60$ in the classifieds soon or on kijiji. Overall TM3 has been great to me but my tuner days have come to a close. Thanks for all the good times and memories.

2400 seems like a steep price to pay but then again not many rebuilders out there. Put the truck on bags and go all out :p. Congrats and enjoy the new ride.

Congrats on the new car.
Just out of curiosity, why did you not take it to, per se, Jimmy at Street Performance? or a reputable mechanic to get your transmission looked over?
I guess if you ultimately had no intention of keeping the vehicle it does not make much difference, but still.

My guess is that the CX-5 is too small with 2 kids and a baby seat. Santa Fe is the next size up.
Any reason why you didn't move to the CX 7 and stay in the Mazda family?

lol ok lots of questions
I didn't go with a CX7 for budget right now . (Single income/ mortgage/ baby on the way.. wish I was a doctor lol ) that and the deal couldn't be beat ($3,500 off, great warrenty, 0% down, 0/84month and don't pay for 90 days). I was gonna buy a dodge caravan ... (:bang) but $9,000 off still wasn't worth it. Hey I give anyone on here props for driving a mini van besides my first car was a van but mini-vans aren't for me.
@Phil- lol I have no net at my house now so BF3 and mw3 split screen BLOOOOOWS
The car was an automatic and I would have rather taken to T.O but I doubt it would have made it. Overall I had barely any issues never drove it hard or anything. I was gonna post it on tm3 for $3500 fixed but couldn't do that to anyone since I know it was in bad shape even after the repair. I may post pics on friday when I get it but it's 100% factory the only mod for this car is 6,000k HIDS... also I have a stock mazda 3 exhaust used for 40,000km gonna sell that too.

Ya, they have some great deals. I missed the no payments for 90 days though! :(
My sister and brother in law are looking at the Tucson and will probably end up buying it within the next several days. They need something that will fit to small dogs and a teenager thats not a minivan! LOL
