As funny as you guys think you may be, you all fail at life.

OP, try searching next time. You aren't and won't be the last to ask this question. People before you have asked the same question.

Guess you found your next mod.

Just be sure you know where to run the power wire when hooking up the amp

Thx for being pricks. You think i haven't search. Behind my battery their is no plug and my wire is too big for the engine plug hole. I have a 2010 so in my glove box their is no plus either. So stop fkin hassling me and saying i haven't search. I was wondering if their was in without drilling

CWP sedan posted the link to solve your problem.

If you bothered to read the thread, you would've come across this post

I just routed my power cable this weekend. My car is also manual.

There is a white plug in the fire wall just left of the battery and about half a foot down from the hood which leads behind the gas pedal.
I popped it out and ran my 4 awg right through with a gromet so it will not shred the cable.
The hole is a rectangle but its perfect.
I still have a small bit to seal up with some silicone but i will take care of that when it warms up.

just jump in there, get down there with a flashlight and prod around. i have a 1st gen, but if theres a hole you'll find it, a rubber grommet might be blocking it.

I gave you options and you didn't use them. If you had of searched you WOULD have found the answers you are looking for.

Your 2010 is no different than a 2007 in regards to where to run the wire through, so you can look in the same areas suggested for a 2007.

You are lucky that's all you got. Running wires are one of the most asked questions because many run a stereo. Please don't get defensive when you REALLY didn't perform a good search. :)

Options are as follows...

1. grommet behind the glove box (http://www.mazda3forums.com/index.php?topic=158293.msg3365174)
2. clutch cover (if you drive an auto)
3. Some people use the location where the hood release cable runs through.
4. rubber grommet around steering column (according to this thread http://www.torontomazda3.ca/forum/showthread.php?60139-4-gauge-amp-wiring-threw-firewall-in-a-2012)

5. Possible option here if it is there on a 2010+

I seriously did find none of these and my friend who works in a garage either. I just took my glove box out and made a hole were the plug is supposed too be. Maybe the Japaneses did not feel like making a plug in the newest modules.

with an attitude like that people are going to be reluctant to help you. your getting free advice here which is saving you money so i think you should be a little more kinder and appreciate the help you are getting

No offense but you and your "mechanic" friend didn't look hard enough. If you found something that works, great. If not we gave you viable options to choose from.

Ultimately, you are new and need to check your attitude at the door. At least for a little bit anyway until you learn a bit more about your car and this forum. Just a suggestion. :)
