Other than 205-50-17 , what other possible or recommended tire size would fit on OEM 17" rims for 2011 Mz3 sport on stock height? Im looking for new all season tires.

Thank you in advance.

215/50/17 or 215/45/17 or 205/45/17

this one, 45% of 215 will give you the most accurate speedometer reading after 205/50/17.

On the 2010 17x7 rims there are only really 2 sizes I would consider:

Stock: 205/50/17
Or this: 225/45/17

I would not deviate from those two sizes, personally.

215/50/17 or 215/45/17 (tel:215/45/17) or 205/45/17
215/50/17 is to tall of a tire... It will through off the speedo.

225/45/17 is the best size to put and looks the best. Also 225/45/17 is the exact height as the 205/50/17

(I got 225/45/17 on my car)

When i was using my oem 17 GTs before i was running on 205/45/17 fronts and 215/50/17 rear....so basically its not a good combo? Just wondering.....

Also im planning on going 17x9 this summer...is 215/45 safe?

215/50/17 is a taller tire then 205/50/17 (stock size)
Your speedo will be off.

Why would you have to different sizes ?

215/45/17 will work but your car will look nicer with 225/45/17 on a 9" wide rim

When i bought my car..they came with those tires :(

Ahh ic..i kinda want a nice stretch thats why i was thinking of 215 on a 9" wide...but still thinking cuz obviously if i use 215 the life tread will be shorter

remember, 04-09 GT 17's are 17x6.5, while the 2010+ GT 17's are 17x7. DON'T use 225/45 on first gen rims, you need a minimum of a 7 inch rim width to run the 225.

215/50/17 or 215/45/17 or 205/45/17

out of these, which one will give me a more comfortable ride?
How about about treadwear?

Comfortable ride will be most dependent on the tire you choose. Pick something with a decently soft sidewall. You will lose a bit of the crisp turn in that a stiff sidewall gives but the trade off is worth it on my opinion.
