Hello,
Im new here, well i have been reading the forum for a little over a month. Ever since i knew i was going to be purchashing a mazda 3.
Awsome site, amazing info.
I just got my lowering springs, i just wanted to know what camber kit i should get for the rears.
i was looking at Dominant Engineering or the eibach, is one better then the other?
Thanks

I have the eibach. No complaints.
Just a note. Some cars need the camber kit and some don't. Mine needed it after I lowered with 2010 prokits.

Your car needed camber kit on PK's?
Interesting. My 05 didn't need it when I installed them. Huh....didn't know 10's were so sensitive LOL

I'm lowered on ProKits and stock dampers and I didn't need a camber kit.

lowered on canuck motorsports and required a camber kit, the camber kit is the eibach ones, i thought for camber kit it did not matter which brand to get since they all more or less perform the same function.

From what I have been reading in previous threads, no one really knows. We only know after we lower it and get the alignment checked.

i was dropped on sport lines and needed one... didn't mean i got one...
just depends on how long you want your tires to last
i just ordered dominant engineering and so did john
awsome welds and no paint on threads after powdercoated to our colour of choice.
great price and great service!

can you adjust the dominant ones on the car?
how much were they?

i was going to ask the same are the dominant engineering adjustable once installed
and is there a delear locally.. Toronto, or do i go about ordering online, if i decide to order them.
thanks
dominant are very much adjustable, can get up to -8 degrees (I believe). But you have to order online, as I believe it's essentially a one-man operation not from the GTA.
and for what it's worth, i was on first gen pk's, sportline's, and now KW V2's and didn't require a camber kit, although I'm getting something for this season as I need more camber

I went with the Dominant ones, and had them shipped with Schmatt's (Thanks Ryan!).
They look Beefy, and can be powdercoated your choice of colour for no charge, not that you see them otherwise :)

Got the Hardrace ones and no troubles.
Just gonna put it out there again. You may not have "needed" a camber kit but lowering your car will adjust the angle of your wheels therefore wearing the tires a little more than stock on the inner belts. A Camber kit can be either used to correct that and straighten your tire or as you have probably seen with the new trends, add more camber to fit wider wheels and angle the crap out of your wheels. So the word need around camber is very limited nowadays, it depends what you are going for. Rotating your tires more often can reduce the uneven wear but either way it is still more wear nonetheless. So it depends if you want to buy tires 4 years down the road or less without a camber kit.
