Trying to post some pictures of a diagram I drew for some electrical stuff, but whenever I put the image link in the IMG tags, the site tells me that the post first needs to be approved by a moderator. It's been a good 24 hours and still no action... Any ideas?

I did not know of this.
It must be the new rules we've implemented to prevent spammers.

Does this also apply to viewing photos? I can't see any photos in any of the sections such as how-to.

No. If you can't view them then the originals have either been removed, etc

Is there a timeline on when posts get reviewed? Or is it just a general spamblock? I don't want to accidentally double post if I have a post with images waiting in the wings.

No set times, we try to get to them a few times per day.
