2008 MS3 Lights

Ok first of all I was in the line up in the border going 2mph and I heard a click in the back driver door. As soon as that happened the four way blinkers came on. The door ajar light on the dash came on immediatly, and only the day time running lights will come on. as well when the car is turned off and the lights are off it shows on the dash that the high beams are on and the four way hazards are still on. This is the second time this has happened, the first time it seemed to have fixed itself, but as of right now it is still doing it. Any ideas what might be going on?

what yr is your car? do you have any aftermarket alarm systems?

It is a 2008 MS3, and no it does not have an aftermarket alarm system

Sounds like either the PJB is going south, or one of the connectors to the PJB is not on correctly. (PJB is the "fusebox" under the glovebox... it is the car's body computer.)
