which intake?

try using the SAE correction factors stickied in this section. if you don't apply SAE correction, then use "custom dyno" with 1.01 ratio for quick and dirty correction.

ouch!

#'s are much lower with SAE correction or custom dyne

vince, you sure know how to make people want more power dont cha!

edit: Cobb intake.

...and change the Smoothing to 3

take a look at the VD plots Fobio posted in the MSpeed section for examples on VD plots that can be used for comparison

No wheelspin issues with that much torque?

not unless you mat it in 1st or second.

my swap to 245 dunlop star specs gave me muchhh more grip.

Yeah you must really have to gordon the clutch and gas with the added torque...not a pain in Toronto traffic to have to be that delicate?

luckily i never have to sit in traffic :) the speed is a bitch in rush hour traffic, but ide take it over any sloppy manual or auto anyday.

Another thing I didn't see was your weight included on your VD plots. Also curious to know if DSC was off?? If not, you should do the runs without it. With it on, numbers become very inflated as you can spin the tires without knowing.

Not trying to dampen your spirits on your numbers, but making almost 300lbs/ft or torque on an intake alone on 91 pump gas at just about 16.5PSI, seems a bit optimistic. Either that on you're one hell of a tuner! ;)

Dsc was off, i added 180lbs to the weight(myself)

I havent touched the tune, its just an OTS tune.

It's not hard to go with no gas in 1st. When sitting in traffic I just feather the clutch.

I get wheelspin in 3rd, cool feeling :D

And yeah as others said those numbers seem a tad high for a stage 1 OTS tune

try "Smoothing 3"

Be safe...it's really not worth it to log for the sake of pulling a VD plot...if your car is running fine and you're on an OTS map, the risk you take logging out on a "non-closed, non-Mexican course." is not worth it, esp since you're not tuning to make any gains.

I'll reply to your PM now that the wknd is here and I have some time to think.

ended up installing a cobb turbo inlet and cobb intake+ accessport on a friends evo X.

those things are STRANGE...25psi at 3k down to 18psi for redline WTF.

It makes the car weird to drive, you feel like your power is nowhere near where it should be.

I drove it for awhile and was completely dissapointed..i expected more than the speed :(

Pretty sure the map you're running now tapers boost to red line too. maybe not as big of a difference as 25-18 though

I likely had higher hopes for the car also, when realistically it makes the same power we do.

My map runs 17psi all the way to redline no taper.
