Hey guys... Been lurking and reading around these forums since I first leased my '07 Mazda 3 GX.
So here is the situation, I'll break it down for ya and see what the best options for me are.
As mentioned I have an 07 Mazda 3 GX, it is on lease, due back in October.
I have 99,100km / 100,000km on the Odometer right now.
I spoke to the dealership it is leased from (withholding dealership name for now... they have a bad rep around here :) )
They have no problem taking the lease back now... and will pay the remaining payments on the lease, of course assuming I lease/finance another new car with them.
I am also looking at financing something a bit older (07-08) but potentially nicer.
So options are;
1) Return my lease now, get into a new model. Loyalty program and lease is paid for.
2) Return the lease now and pay the remainder myself, finance something from elsewhere.
3) Keep the car till end of lease, pay the KM overage charges
I would love to grab a new Mazda 3 Speed , but for $10k less I could also grab a 07-08 Audi or BMW.
Finally, if I was to go the Audi/BMW route.... is there any sense to doing it all through the Mazda dealer? It would probably be less expensive to go direct to the car dealer right?
Thanks for the help guys.
