So currently I have the 75 duro CPE RMM and Cobb SRI on my car. I'm thinking of adding a couple more minor bolt ons, one being the Cobb turbo inlet pipe and forge BPV. I think that is it for for a little while.

Question is, I have been reading a lot of posts and reviews that the cobb SRI and TIP combo is creating issues without a tune. I read this mainly from the cobb review site and maybe somewhere else. Just wondering if anyone ran the combo without a tune or cobb AP and noticed this? Running lean with this combo?

I'm also not planning on getting the AP anytime soon and leaving the car in this state and also was wondering if it was worthwhile to maybe take it for a dyno tune? I'm a noob so I'm not sure whats involved. DO i install the TIP and BPV before taking it for the dyno tune or not and costs? Just need some suggestions here.

Car: 2007 speed3.

I realise I should get the AP and HPFP but thats $$$$ I don't have now to drop.

Thanks in advance.

If your considering a dyno tune, I would just get the AP. Probably the same price in the end.

Hmm thats probably the route I need to go haha.

You will have less issues this way and think about it...

You can monitor your fuel pressure, do logs, and a variety of other great things with the AP. Just flash a Stage 1 tune and you will notice a huge difference in the way the car drives as opposed to throwing in a INTAKE/TIH

Yep makes sense.

BTS stupid question and it's probably releated to a heavy foot but reflashing the ECU to a stage 1 map... does that decrease fuel economy? Not that I am that concerned but just curious.

Thanks

That is a good question.

I would think that it is not any worse than the stock tune.

It all comes down to driving style (how heavy your foot is)
