Anyone else going to be there for sure? I can't wait. It's incredible that something still deemed as "bad" or "wrong" can have over 20,000 people publicly protesting without any violence, REAL crime, or other undesired issues. The police are great and everyone has a good time!

Yeah agreeable but i typically go with a group and we just post-up in our own little picnic section, do the walk, meet some people and whatnot

definitely agree. I've been smoking weed for years (not so much these days, but I'll still dabble from time to time) and was always appaled by the crowd this tends to attract. Went a few times and was pretty disapointed. Not saying much if 90% of the 20,000+ people who attend are teenagers, hippies, yuppies, rastas and hipsters. Not that theres anything wrong with them, but it'd be nice to see a little more white-collar representation. Unemployed white kids with dreadlocks arent the only ones who get high lol

still, it *is* undeniably great that we live in a place where an event like this is tolerated and allowed to happen every year. I really dont see this happening anywhere in the states lol.

Come to Guelph on April 20th and you can smoke weed on Johnston Green all day long and there's also a huge celebration at 4:20.
If I go to either of these two, it'll be the Guelph event & not the weed march

I have gone to the Freedom Festival in TO for the last 3 years, it is the biggest and safest outdoor event to ever be held in Toronto.

Last years was kinda funny, we only go half the road, and the march had to stop for red lights lmao. Took us a long time to finally finish.

Not sure if I am going this year, they said over 50,000 people last year though? You can smell the event, long before you get to it :D
