View Full Version : Trying to find a BPV...
Been trying to find a shop in Ontario that will sell me a "Turbosmart Kompact PLUMB BACK"
So far I haven't found anywhere, I've ordered it from the states and they had it back ordered for over 2 weeks so I just told them to cancel my order.
Any suggestions?

Tial
good choice...Tial is the only other one I'd consider besides a Turbosmart. Just personal preference.
just called garage16, talked to rick, I ended up buying a Forge instead. tx for the help.

The TiAL when running in the stock position with an SRI is a tight fit/doesn't fit. That said, we checked boyracer's it looks like it should fit with the CS sri no issues.
If you want to double check fitment, let me know.

Nope, but if you do upgrade your BPV and your Forge is a V2. I'm interested in it!!

Guys, my long term goal is going BT, probably a GTX3071 or the GTX2867. End goal is a reliable and repeatable 375whp (but won't complain if it pushed more than that). But before I jump ahead of myself, I know I have to get all the right supporting mods, and this brings me to my question regarding BPV's, I'm still on my OEM one, but what's THE Best BPV out there in the market for the 2nd Gen MS3 that would be pushing that kind of power?
Not interested in venting to atmosphere either ... don't want ppl hearing me a block away.
I'm looking at the CP-e Tial QR setup, but would that have interference issues with most SRI setups?
What other options do I have for quality BPV?

My vote is the HKS. Does not leak in vacuum and handles high boost no prob. Only issue is that you can't run the Guardian Angel with it.
Both Bluestreak and I run it. Both in VTA, silver insert and no insert respectively. Even in VTA it is not loud unless you gun it. Daily city driving, it doesn't even go off.
Tial QR is badass though.

Dual port or anything vent to atmosphere is a bad thing with these cars...also, BPV's take around 3 minutes to install, why wait?
