Obviously they're not gonna show the ones who were able to text and drive, it would defeat the purpose of the video. LOL

This is acted.... lol... there are two points I see where its obvious you can tell. It almost looked like infomercial acting.

But with the message in mind - texting and driving is idiotic. We've all done it so admit it - but I know that to be 100% alert, 100% of your attention should be on the road.

Why was the instructor not wearing a seatbelt when he smashed his head on the dash......

This video is way overly exaggerated. Although I agree that you should not text and drive, you can be much better at multi tasking than these people.

In order to get your pilot's license, you must show that you are able to fly an airplane, at 500' above the ground, figure out where you are (after flying "blind" for 10 min), plot a new route to your destination, then figure out how to get there. That is way harder than trying to send a text while driving.

Someone telling you random shit to text while driving is different than you just texting I would think.

I think I hear a challenge? Anyone who thinks its possible to text and drive while maintaining 100% focus on the road want to test this?

Video is definitely exaggerated but stats prove that drivers under the age of 25 are more likely to get into an accident because of distractions based on test/talking without a hands free device.

I only text at stop lights :P

I do the same. My phone has predictive texting, so it's easy to send a few texts at a red light.
