Guys, I'm planning on replacing my rotors and pads for the front and rear.
Been looking around on the web and here on tutorials on how to do so and it doesn't look too bad. My only concern is the Front and Rear anti rattle spring. For those of you who have replaced the brakes yourself how hard was it to remove and reinstall the springs? Any tips on how to do so as well?

Thanks in advance.

i remember Noisy Crow had a pretty good tutorial but i couldn't find it, you can try searching for it. 2 things for the mazda though 1) the caliper pins are gonna need a hex key socket and 2) the rear pistons need to be pushed in at the same time being turned clockwise - you will notice 2 notches in it, theres a special tool but you could carefully use pliers

if you haven't done it before watch a video tutorial so you don't miss any details

crap, my bad. i just woke up and read your post properly. the wire spring covering the caliper? i used a large flat head and pried it off gently with a twisting motion. i used a needle nose pliers and the same flat head to re-install. if you're having trouble try putting the opposite end in first, i find it fits in better only one way. then gently tap it all in making it secure

They need to be pushed in a turned clock wise? Thats weird. Most you just push back in and away you go! I'll have to be careful on this step. Thanks for the heads up.

he meant twist and turn for the caliper piston.. when installing new rotors and pads.. the spring just pry off with a flat screw driver.. carefully.. push the spring in the two holes, but make sure you put it on correctly and tap it on securely
