Quite simple...
When I shut off my car, with music playing (radio)
I can still hear the audio playing ... but very quietly. Almost like there is still power pushing the audio through, except the car is turned off and the radio is off.
Is this normal...?

No keys...
2010 MazdaSpeed 3, its push button ignition
Haven't had any issues with starting or battery drain either, nor have I sat around for an extended period of time to see how long it stays on for.
But I have noticed it the odd time when it was very quiet after parking, and I could still hear the music playing very faintly.

Check to see if it cuts off when you open the door

Too much power going to the speaksers somewhere... My buddy surged a speaker once - a regular computer speaker - attached god knows how much voltage - and it started playing a radio station... It might be related to your incident.. there could be too much power somewhere

Yeah sorry bout the delay... work schedules and all that.
So I just parked after driving home from work, and switched off after listening to a CD.
Everything normal, couldn't hear anything.
Put accessories back on, switched to radio, and then shut off the car.
I could hear the radio station in the background again, faintly... as if someone had turned the radio on and to (1) volume... almost inaudible unless the car is totally silent inside.
Opened the door, again still could hear it in the background...
Not sure why, it hasn't caused any problems for me, no issues with battery drain etc.

There's the real problem.
OT: Does it do that with Bluetooth as well? Ipod? etc. or is it only the radio.

Sorry, you lost me on the CD comment.... Whats the problem?
Have to try bluetooth, but I doubt it would... seeing as how when you shut off the car bluetooth disconnects.
I don't subscribe to the I-Cult :)

For how long does it continue?
If you close the doors and come back, is it still going on?
CD, or just radio?

Dunno... Guess I'll have to sit in my car parked, with it off sometime for an extended period :bang
Radio only from what I can gather
