Please tell me your opinion on my Borla Catback..

Just wondering your thoughts on my Borla C/B with Injen CAI.. Im planning on adding a header/straight pipe and chipping ecu with GFchips. Sorry for the shyt quality on a windy day, plus my cam was to close.. Sound good/bad? Its actually much deeper in person, the little mic focuses on highs mostly.. wondering also if my plans will ruin the sound or enhance it?

sounds pretty decent, I'm sure it does sound better in person though.

Don't bother with a chip; won't work on our cars. Save your $70 and buy something useful.

Ok, thx guys.. I was unsure if they worked so Im glad I asked, bcuz GForce Chips was pretty convincing lol Im a impulse buyer and I read on their site, dyno tested.. "could gain up to 15-30hp and 7mpg" for a N/A Mazda 3.. but I knew I smelt BS.. Thx again!!

That was exactly what I needed to hear, thanks!! Thats a mint sound.. I know for sure I want to add this to my mz3. That sounds angry, may I ask what type of header and straight pipe you used?

Sounds freakin' awesome for just the CBE and CAI, but I think it'd be a better sound if you only went for the header and no straight pipe down the road. I just like the deeper sounding exhausts though, so that may be just me.

I dont have my header installed in that vid, only straight pipe and stock header.
there is no brand of straight pipe, a muffler shop just cut the cat off and welded in a pipe.

Header i have is vibrant.

I watch these vids everyday when i get home from work.. you ride is a beast!! love it!! did u let the si go..it sounded like u let off?..
