Hi everyone!
I just wanted to say hello from Southern California! I've been a forum member on Mazda3Revolution but I found this great forum so I wanted to sign up for it. :D
Are there any So.Ca riders here??

I think the Newport Beach is the closest city to where I live... I'd say about 40 min. drive but I drive over there pretty frequently. :)
Thanks for the welcoming me everyone! :D

Would it be terribly illegal for you to put a Cold Air Intake on your car?

I don't think so. I've passed smog checks with AEM SRI on my 89 Supra that I own. Nobody said anything about it....yet. :P

Welcome.
I would guess about 95% of the members on this forum have done something to their car.

What are the most common upgrades/modifications people add to their cars? I have not done anything other than tinting the windows...

That's one of the most common things. Others include some sort of intake, lowering springs/struts, exhaust, short shifter (manual), HID swaps if you don't have them, stuff like that. There's some pretty unique cars on here, take a peek thru the Members Ride thread to get an idea.
Happy modding!

OK, thanks! Why would you lower the car though, it's already so low. If mine was any lower, I would be hitting curbs constantly...

Improved handling thru corners, and for aesthetic reasons. A lowered car generally tends to look better. Choice is up to you, some people do, some people don't it all depends what you're comfortable with.
