Hello all, I have a quick question that my searching didn't exactly answer.
I am trying to build up the best cheapest used suspension set up and I have a quick question about camber.
I have a line on some lightly used Intrax springs (Drop 1.5") and I'll be riding on KYB gr2's (I would prefer koni str.t's but at the moment that isn't feasable) and RX8's with 225/40 rubber. My sedan rear fenders are unrolled.
I may or may not require a camber kit (as you never know until to put the springs on and check) but I think I want to go the better safe than sorry route for the install. So I am planning on getting the camber arms installed at the same time as the springs so I don't have to possibly pay twice.
Question:
I have seen the original, unadjustable Mazdaspeed arms going for pretty cheap (as everyone wants the adjustable ones) and I was wondering if they would adjust my camber enough, so that when coupled with the springs and the minimal stock adjustability, I would end up in the -1.5 to -1.75 range and hopefully avoid any rubbing? Aiming for a good daily driver set up, no intention of tracking or doing auto-x.
Also, unless you have adjustable arms that you can sell me for less than $100 please don't tell me to "just buy the adjustable ones" :D. I really would just like to know if what I proposed in my question is possible.
If it's not, then I guess my only option is to spend some time searching for some incredibly elcheapo used adjustable ones, but I want to rule out the mazdaspeed option first.
Thanks!
