Name the event contest

As all of you should know by now..TM3 is partnering with Mazda Canada, and Hearth Place(A Cancer Support Centre), and the 5K On The Runway, to host an epic 300 Mazda 3 photo shoot event. The even will be held 9/23, as per details in this thread - http://www.torontomazda3.ca/forum/showthread.php?62430-300-MZ-MS3-s-for-Epic-Pic .
With that said, we need an event name, and possible tag line. I know we have some creative people on this board.


So a contest...submit your idea for an event name and tagline in this thread. The winner will receive two Ultra94 preferred price cards, which provide .20 savings off 100 litres of gas each, a combined value of $40.
The winner will be chosen by the moderators.
Contest will close on Tuesday July 3, at 6pm.

Deadline extended to Wednesday July 4th at 5pm. That way those taking an extra long weekend can still submit ideas.

Lotsa meanings...# of cars, whp, wtrq...something previous stock Mazdas have never done, and something the MZ/MS3 is championing into the future!

"FOR THE (HEART SYMBOL) OF MAZDA" - read as "For the Love of Mazda"

Heart symbol matches the Hearth Place cancer centre.. Derived from the term "For the Love of God" which is normally taken as a sign of frustration, surprise, etc.

Combining the I (HEART) NY t-shirt prints idea with "For the Love of God" would indicate the opposite meaning of the phrase (love, care, etc). :)

Following on Rzapta's idea, what about For the HeartH of Mazda ? Plays into Mazda, and the charity. Capitalizing the second H in Hearth to avoid confusion with Heart.

Mostly self-explanatory. Play off of "gets to the heart of the matter" with a twist.

Not really event names I guess, but these would be some preliminary taglines that came to my mind:

- "Attempting To Zoom-Zoom A Cure For Cancer. From Our Hearth To Yours."
("Hearth" instead of "heart")

- "Gathering Our H3arth's To Zoom-Zoom Cancer Away."
(The "Hearths" being used for "hearts" and the "3" replacing the "e" to symbolize our cars)

Nothing wrong with, for example, "300+ Mazda's Epic Pic" benefitting the Hearth Place, a cancer support centre for patients and families...

"Defy Reality: Mazda's for Cancer"... or some BS convoluted marketing speak or advertising jargon for the sake of posters...

It's simply a very effort intensive picture AND just so happens we need to help raise funds. To be honest, everyone in this world knows someone who suffers from or passed away due to cancer...let's not get labelled as "car guys using cancer to promote stuff"...

it is the club's effort to gather 300+ cars to celebrate Mazda, and MZ/MS3 and that is the draw...benefitting Hearth Place is side benefit. Making posters is just to promote the event and NOT the reason for having an event.

Don't get it twisted...esp in the day and age of Internet and the efforts lead by a forum, why are we stressing on POSTERS AND CARDS THAT CAN POTENTIALLY EAT INTO THE FUNDS BEING RAISED WHEN THE BEST MEDIUM TO SPREAD THE WORD IS THE ACTUAL INTERNET AND FORUM THAT WE USE?

We reached 200+ without a single freaking poster...

EDIT: If we are making materials to promote the event...say to pass out at the Ertefa meet, we should clearly highlight the potential design of the picture. When ppl can visualize their car and themselves there and visualize themselves having fun with their friends, it's be a better draw, then just some catchy slogan.

Fobio - I know we just chatted but I want to post anyway to clarify my position.
Tying Mazda or TM3 to Cancer - I agree not the message we want. However tying either or both name into Cancer SUPPORT is ok/good.
The goal is to get a name/tagline that is catchy, and rings in people heads. Nothing convoluted, just trying to keep our event in peoples minds.
With regard to the posters/cards - we want to spread the message through every possible medium.
We will be doing plenty of web, social media marketing, but the more the better.
The plan is to have the concept on our promotional material.

Now...keep the fun going..I have items to give away.
