View Full Version : Need new boxers

I've been wearing the same brand/style of boxers for several years now, but the last two times buying them they have been garbage. The stitching is coming apart after 2 or 3 wears. Another problem is that they cling to my legs when I sweat, really limiting my range of motion. I've even split the crotch on these at work simply because they refused to slide up my leg when moving around. These are Denver Hayes knit boxers from Marks work wear house.

I basically need something like under armor but loose like a boxer. I may pick up under armor boxer-briefs, but I haven't liked the tightness around my junk in the past so I probably won't like it now...

Any suggestions?

If you get tight boxers, aka brief, you run the risk of chafing, and ingrowns.

Calvin Klein boxer briefs. Cling to your leg so they dont ride up. Feel amazing on your shit, and it's always nice that women compliment them.

They're expensive ($30 each I think) but you can either wait for CK's yearly sale where they go for about $10, or just buy them in buffalo.

Check out Jockey Midway Briefs. They're a bit long down the leg, but because of that they're great for sports, they don't ride up, work well when biking as well. Comfortable! They make a sport mesh version as well. Cotton feels better imo though

Also, The Bay almost ALWAYS has some sort of sale on boxers.

Well I found an old pack of Fruit of the loom that I had never opened... just sitting in my dresser like a message from god. They're comfy but much thinner than what I'm used to, so we'll see how long they last. I don't like American Eagle boxers, but I might check out the Hanes ones.

Do these boxer briefs ride up your legs guys? I want some that don't bunch up. I hate walking around picking at my undies.

Free bag it with a little dusting of baby powder dude. Works like a charm!

Edit: I cut trees, which requires me to wear chainsaw pants in this hot weather. It's like wearing snow pants in the summer and that is my anti-chafe trick.

Oh man.. you guys are all missing out hard. Spend a little more and get at least a couple sets of CK and wear them on nights when they'll be spotted:cool. Extremely comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Plus, even random women who have spotted them in some sort of random manner have complimented them. Do it for the women! and for yourself.. I guess :chuckle

You baller.... who the hell has the money to spend that much on underwear??

@ OP If you just want quality, get FTL... mine lasted over 10 years - i got rid of most of them, because I wanted something a bit nicer looking. I still wear them when i'm just crawling around under my car tho lol

no pun intended haha

You don't have $10 to spend on underwear? Spend $100 one time and get 10 of them. That's all you'll ever need. It's worth it for the comfort alone, everything else is just a nice bonus.

I thought you said they were 30/ea.... oh wait you said wait for the sale, nm. Well 10/ea isn't TOO bad. But its still kinda ridiculous considering you can get other lesser brands for 4 for 10. that means the name brand is literally 10x more expensive @ regular price

Yeah, but it's usually better quality than no name brand

Lucky, I had some no name brands in the past that were horrible. Some would last at most a year.

FTL came apart on me after maybe a year and a half. Might give Saxx a shot, they sound comfy. I think my waist is too small for CK

Well I got a pair of the Saxx boxer briefs. They actually ARE the best underwear I've ever worn. Don't laugh at the comfort pouch, it actually works. My balls don't rub/stick/touch my legs and it feels AMAZING.

Now, it was a little over $30 with shipping, so I don't think I can afford a pair for every day of the week, but this is something you guys really should try. Even if you only ever get one pair, it will be worth it!

I got these http://www.saxxunderwear.com/24-SEVEN/ ...I got the XL and they fit perfectly, so the sizing they list on the site is accurate.

I tried the Wlmart brand sport boxers, I tried all different types, because i'm a bigger guy if they are too lose my legs get irritated and/or the bunch up between the legs, these ones go a few inches above the knee and don't bunch up. I find the siizing to be good and rarely have any discomfort

IDK what the hell you guys do to your underwear, but I've had my fruit of the looms for over a year and there's not even a small hole in any of the pairs. Wearing the boxer briefs right now...plenty of support, still breathes, can't complain!
