Hello
I changed my pads to HP+ recently, did the bed in ran it for over 500KM and went for a track day.
After the track day I start hearing the front brakes the sounds like it's dragging when rolling at very low speed or from stop and go.
What could that be?

Bearings.
that's just the way those pads are
unless you're hard on the brakes, your car will sound like an old bus
price you pay for having those pads installed

Mine does that too...I think its normal for these pads. It started with noise from low rolling speeds, now it does it everytime I turn lightly or accelerate.
Pads are almost done though...

I knew the squeal, squeaks are normal for these pads. But just wanna make sure the dragging sound I hear is normal as well.
Anyhow I'll switch back to OEM for street use and keep the HP+ for track
Btw i used Ford Fluids + Stoptech stainless lines+ HP+ for last weekend track day at Mont-Tremblant. Very consistent braking power through out all day! Highly recommend for all ppl who visit the track once in a while.

Switched back to OEM pads for street use and the dragging noise is gone so Loki was right it was the pads causing the issue
Thanks!

anyone ever check the wear indicator tab, i had a set of pads once and it had been bent during packaging and when installed was touching the rotor. bent the tab and noise was gone.

I had the same squeaks sound when I back out from the garage almost every morning with oem break. and I ask the dealer they say this is normal with a cold start.

Unless you've heard his brakes you cannot compare.
He had hawk hp+ pads installed which appear to drag during normal use. He has since switched back to oem pads for street use and the issue has been resolved

funny I hear that sound almost every time I back out even when it is 30 degrees out here! I figure I will get it taken care of once I buy new tires and rims.
