View Full Version : Summerlicious 2012 - any recommendations?
I'm going to infer that some of you have gone. Any places to try or avoid for dinner from personal experience?

Will preface this by saying, this is the last week, so reservations will be tough to secure.
Went to Trevor Kitchen last week, and it was one of the top Summer/Winterlicious dining experiences I have had. Other recommendations from previous experience - Mildred's Temple Kitchen, La Societe, and Bodega .

Linda's Thai food is excellent
If anybody has been to the old "Salad King", they may remember the upstairs portion of the restaurant. When they moved to the Don Mills location, they took all the cooks with them

Same owners...I've known the family for ~25 years, I've even been a beta tester for recipes. Linda's is awesome though.

Blu Ristorante in Yorkville
Italian food was good but the seating was a little tight IMO.

I think McEwan has gotten too big for his own good ... seems like he's trying to reach Gordon Ramsey level ... I remember when he only had North 44 and Terra. I enjoyed North 44.

I agree totally...honestly I go to shops at don mills all the time and we shop at his grocery store...the salad they served us at the lunch was EXACTLY the same as the one in the grocery store.
