this month i'm finally getting koni yellows and wondering what kinda of settings i should use with tein s-techs and wheels that are 18x8 with a +35 offset and the typical 225/40/18 tires and i do have my rear fenders rolled. i want them stiff enough that they don't rub on bumps. I'm noticing that the back wheels are getting quite cheese graded on the back and i hear lots of rubbing coming from the front from bumps and turns. i saw that people would do 50% stiffness but i was thinking maybe closer to 75-80% even thought it would be a hard ride

Congratulations on the Konis!

Why not go around 80% all around. The fronts, I think you know are easy to adjust. Mine are at 60% all around and no rubbing after the rears were rolled. Suits me fine. You could also roll the fronts at some point.

I would do 80-90% all around, I had 50% all around and was not very impressed.

Can you adjust them after there installed or do you gotta pull them out each time to adjust?

And sorry the stiffer they are the better turning and handling is that when they are softer?

I think with that offset if you're rubbing, you'll still rub no matter how stiff you have the koni

I have mine set at quarter twist from the stiffest, so greater than 90%

Based on the offset, sounds like an MSR wheel lol

FYI the rear is 'not' adjustable once in the car as it is impossible to access.

i do have a set of msr wheels. i don't mind too much rubbing on a big/hard bump i just dont like how the back bounces up and rubs on the slightest bump

Is there any new hardware for the struts/shocks I should get before installing them

You may need new bump stops, but if your going to jimmy then you don't have to worry about it (he keeps extras). If Chee or one of the other guys does the install tell him beforehand to set the rears to your desired setting, i.e 50%.
