Passenger Seat Airbag Light Sensor

Does anybody else have issues with the passenger airbag light sensor. I know that if the person if under a certain weigh that the sensor will shut off the airbag as the airbags can do more damage. However this being said my girlfriend who is usually in the passenger seat weighs 120 lbs. the sensor usually shuts off the airbag, but not all the time.

Does anyone know the weigh the sensor will shut the air bag off? Or has anyone else had a similar problem?

Car is a 2012 3 sport GX. Bought it brand new a month ago.

ya i did read through this thread already. I was wondering what the actual weigh was for the 2012's. Looks like it is just something that is rather common.

my gf has this problem wen shes with me. were able to fix this by just undoing the seat belt and rebelt. it only happens rarely, probably once every 30 times. i dont take off before i check everything, and until everyone is safe
