Hey Mazda3 people!

I drive a 07 C30 turbo and im just here looking for parts lol. As some of may know, the 07+ C30's share many things with the Mazda 3's Such as suspension, brakes sub-frames ect. So i currently need a OEM speed3 rear sway bar. Since the Volvo 19mm isnt cutting it, i need to upgrade.

Some things about my car.... Its a red hatchback, inline 5 banger with a K04 turbo. Stage 3 tune, DP, Exhaust, Speed3 front brakes, CBV, TVC and much more. Its not your typical Volvo lol.

why not go with an aftermarket sway bar?? The OEM MS3 isnt even very stiff and offers no adjustability.

Got any pics of your ride? sounds interesting :D

all depends on the car. i would say a ms3 oem sway bar on the regular 3 offers and about the same upgrade as an after market sway bar is to a speed 3. all about the power, weight, and design. not sure how a speed 3 sway bar would be like on a volvo, but i think the volvo would be lighter. so a speed 3 sway bar of a volvo should be a substantial upgrade

well a aftermarket Elevate one is 25mm... and when the speed3 bar is 26mm and is probably cheaper, im thinking OE may be best.

Here are some pics...

Thank you the props guys.

Ya the Mazda3 and volvo share the Ford C1 platform. So when i work on my car i often see "FoMoCo" on the gas tank, plastic bits ect. Changed my front 300mm brakes to the speed 3, 320mm brakes. Caliper is much beefier and stopping power is sooo much better now. Best of all, bolt on!

Coilovers are going on next.. and yes i bought them for a mazda 3 hahaha!

^THIS!

Hyundai is making big moves, just like their sister comapny Kia. Volvo was stuck in a bland styling state until the 04+ S40's and such.

Ive always wanted a C30, and im glad i bought one. LOTS of people snap their necks looking at my car and asking "WTF is that?" lol

The best is some S2000's, Mustangs and EVO guys faces after a run at Cayuga lol! Beatin by a volvo isnt something that like to say haha!

Volvo's have always been cool cars, mostly because the older ones are all RWD. ive seen many early 90's wagons with big turbos. i guess the engines hold up really well to boost.
also, Volvo's R line is super cool too. there was a guy in burlington that had a 400 hp V70R. super cool.

He still has it, his name is frank and owns the eurosport tuning shop. its funny seeing how mean his car is... then seeing it park and his kids roll out the back haha!

Another benefit from volvo is the Galvanized steel=no rust :)

Its quick, but its the torque that shocked me. Insane amount!

nice car...

I was looking at a volvo S40 before getting my 3 seemed like a good car.... then I saw the car proof showing 2 accidents ( one was about $5000 and the other was about $2000) and the guy was selling for $6,995 + Taxes :S
and he was trying to persuade us it was all ok but you could tell in the guy's voice that he had something to hide... ( I was trying to tell my parents "lets get out of here" but the guy wont stop trying to persuade us).... we eventually walked out....

that is a fine C30. It was between a C30 and a MZ3 back when I was in the market, went with the MZ3 purely for financial reasons but LOVE the volvo!
