Hi there,

First off, I would like to say that I've been a long time reader of Torontomazda3. I've followed the members rides forum very closely (loads of creatively modded cars) but never posted in it because...well...I'm not from Canada (not sure of the protocol here). lol

Nonetheless, I've decided to introduce myself to this really spirited community.

I reside in Melbourne and I own a 2010 Mazda 3 Maxx Sport (not sure what the Canadian variant is). I am very new to the modding scene (a couple of months) and I am currently completing a PhD in politics.

Here are some pics of my ride at the moment with a few humble mods added.

Thanks for the very warm welcome guys and the wonderfully kind comments on the car.

I believe mine is the second model up from the base model of the Mazda 3 range, here in Australia.

The laws here are sadly quite strict when it comes to modding. :( For example, we're only allowed performance mods (i.e. intake, exhaust system) after 3 years of driving. I got my drivers liscence a little late...so 6 more months before I can add a new exhaust or intake. lol

Would love to visit Canada at some stage with my wife! Absolutely love the indie music scene over there!

Here are some additional pictures I took in the past couple months. The car has got the MZ lip kit and is lowered on Pedders springs/shocks. Also have the Alpine sound set-up with a rear vision cam.

Really like the look of the Carbon Fibre inside the car, makes the car look more high end since the only cars I have seen with such are Ferraris :P

Thanks guys. Yup, its RHD here in Australia. I've always wanted to drive an LHD car...haha I guess the grass is always greener on the other side.

I have seen Chan7's ride thread. He has an awesome looking ride - subtle and elegant. TM3 in general is a great place for inspiration. The forums we have in Australia are less active. It's also great that you guys have so many local sponsors with good deals. I often have to source my car mod parts from overseas.

Thanks for all the support guys and a big 'hi' to fellow Australians on here. I've not started a members ride thread but will do soon once a few more mods are in place. ;) Every single car in the members ride forum is really classy. High benchmark to keep up with the rest. haha
