Post Your Best Lap Time

All over the forums everyone asks everyone what their best lap time is at the track. So I figured I'd start a thread where we can all post our best lap times.

Please specify if you got a Mazda3 or a Mazdaspeed3.

Car: 2006 Mazda3s sedan 2.3L

My best TMP time: 1:35.82 (full track layout)

Doesn't each track have different layouts?

I remember TMP had 2 or 3 different layouts on their road track

If so - the numbers wouldn't really mean much LOL

We're talking full track layout, which there is only one.

I guess you're right lol. Never thought about that. I've only ran one layout at TMP. I'm pretty sure open lapping, CSCS and SRTA run the same layout.

DDT on the other hand is different depending on who you go with. Not sure about Mobil1 Time Attack but I know CSCS and SRTA is different from each other.

I guess just specify the layout.

I'd suggest separating MZ3 and MS3 threads for lap times to keep things organized.

I mean no offence by this and genuinely want to see this thread grow to pages. As such, I think it's only fair to compare to one's peers' lap times rather than to a different class of cars just cuz we share the same nameplate. I refer to CASC classification of the cars along with SRTA and CSCS. Furthermore, I believe that others from each respective car, MZ3 and MS3, will feel more compelled to post results and compare to their peers rather than engage in "penile length" contests.

Furthermore, it'd be nice to also include official timing results [ie website link], photo or video evidence to keep results posted useful for others to gauge their progress.

We could make 2 threads, 1 for each. Not a big deal and link or picture for evidence is an awesome idea. My times are from SRTA site btw.

Nice idea. :D but in my opinion, you should keep this thread just how it is as 1. there arent as many people who track compared to those who mod for looks, herraflush, etc.
why split the minority even further?:gone

and, those with faster times be it with faster cars or not, can help those with slower times/cars by giving advice.
the best mod by far is driver mod, not hp.

With a passenger? Nice! That means you would of hit at least 1:30 or even lower. I shaved off 3.5 seconds kickin' out my buddy at DDT lol.

Listing mods is a good idea! I guess I gotta edit my post again lol.

+1 on the "not splitting the MZ3 and MS3". I guess there isn't that many of us that track!

No offense but I didn't create this thread to argue or have someone put down my idea. If you don't like it, please don't post in it. I don't wanna search up various threads to see other peoples lap times. If someone wants to post their lap times in here, feel free. If not, no big deal.

I had a response written but it was deleted by Ami. I wanted to send you a PM to explain my position but apparently you can't receive PM's for some reason. As such we'll leave it at that and see how it turns out. Good luck on this thread; I genuinely want to see it grow.

Mods: OE Mazdaspeed CBE, Fujita CAI, Skunk2 springs
Tires: Hankook Optimo All seasons
Track Layout: TMP Full track
Other things to note: 4 ppl in the car, torn passenger motor mount, car has 240k on body and engine
