Has the hype over UFC in Toronto died off that quickly already?!?!?

I don't think the hype has died down, more the quality of the card. Since UFC is having so many more events the overall quality of cards has dropped dramatically. As a result, people are interested, but not as many non UFC fans/general public are excited.

This is also due to the fact that more of the "mainstream well known fan favourites" are working so much harder and fighting so much sooner there are a ton more injuries occurring which is causing lots of them to drop off the card or postpone their fights. People pay the big bucks to see the big names, unless you really are a true fan you will enjoy every fight regardless of who it is and more so for the sport itself.

Couldn't agree with you more. There are way too many events throughout the year now. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of MMA in general, but too much of a god thing is not always good.

My boy Pierson won. Hoping next time he gets a min card fight. He looked a little rough after the fight as his face to a beating at the end of the third. A win is a win though.

Great event!
Funny how alot of the prelims were better/ more exciting than the main cards :)

My friends and I sat about 50 feet away from Rick (Garage16). Also chatted with Joe (Flipdady) during the event, but never got to grab a beer with either of them. I think that will be the last time though that I sit through an entire card as my knees were shot. 7 hours of sitting in those seats is just way too long. I was up and walking around after every other fight.

As I was mentioning above, there are just way too many cards throughout the year (this being the 3rd card in Toronto this year). It's good for the city that the next event in Toronto won't be till September 2013 as that will be a good way to create a sell out crowd.
