Samsung Galaxy S3?

Well its here and I'm sure a lot of TM3 members have switched to this. But what did you switch from? What provider did you have? Well for me, I took the deal from being with rogers from almost 400 dollars a month bundle billing to Bell which is now 105 a month with the bundle billing, but still searching for a cell phone.

Samsung Galaxy S3 (http://www.trustedreviews.com/samsung-galaxy-s3_Mobile-Phone_review) is been in my mind since a month now and not really sure what I need or what plan I want, for that being said it sucks at the moment not having a cell phone.

What do you think about the Samsung Galaxy S3?

Absolutely, the best phone on the market in my opinion. My job is basically to mess around with phones and sell them based on their features. Everything from swype to the hd quality of videos. I have yet to need my phone for something that it can't do, it's basically more computer then phone but with keeping all the phone features.

I came from an iphone 4 -> s2 -> s3 in the past month and I would never go back to apple. There isn't one thing the iphone can do that would win me over from the s3

On the rogers 6GB plan. I like it a lot, much more after flashing to Cyanogenmod 10. Samsung includes too many extra apps for my taste. Came from a pretty old BB. Big difference :) I think it feels pretty solid, that being said I have it in an Otterbox case all the time because I tend to fumble and drop my phones. Using it as a blackbox while driving with a dashmount, works great.

Blackberry 72xx, 87xx, 88xx, curve 83xx, bold 9700, storm2 95xx, iphone3gs, torch 9800, iphone4, bold touch, galaxy s2, htc raider, galaxy s2, iphone4s, htc raider, galaxy s3 (today), maybe go iphone5 for curiosity sakes but wouldn't be surprised if I end up with galaxy s3 again.

the only reason why I didn't bother with htc one x is because there is no expansion slot and they only offered the 16gb at the time, and why would you care about the feel of any phone when you're going to be putting an otter box or gel skin or some case over it.

I've been told the Iphone 4s to the 5 is pretty much almost the same and for the Samsung SE is a must. Now is searching for the perfect provider, any suggestions?

Samsung's Galaxy S3 is Chewing into iPhone 5 Sales (http://www.brightsideofnews.com/news/2012/9/4/samsungs-galaxy-s3-will-chew-into-iphone-5-sales.aspx) Looks like S3 is kicking arsss in sales.

Well that was written before the iPhone 5 was even announced, of course S3 sales were going to outpace the outgoing iPhone 4s. Now we know there is still a huge pent-up demand for the newest iPhone based on the pre-orders. Would iPhone sales be even higher though without the existing S3? Undoubtably, as Samsung also did a great job in simply having one phone throughout North America which added to the marketing heft.
