Need more info. How low do you want to go? How much adjustment do you want? How much are you able to spend?

if you looking for cheap (under $700) and dont mind the rough ride then Raceland. I have it and its a little rough for my liking so will prob swap it out next summer. I heard V-Maxx is $800 (peterm has it). Everything else is $1,000+ . You might be able to get a used set if ur lucky tho.

imo, best bang for your buck coilovers are the BC BR Type, are they still $998 or something? Personally, I'm on KW V2s, love the ride but I'm not sure I needed to get the V2s over the V1s lol

BCs are probably the wisest choice just because so many people use them, there's so much info knowledge about them online. I'm on KWs and wouldn't trade them for anything

peterm15. Lol.

Remind me to take you for a ride tomorrow to see what you think of the roughness.

I think Hyperion selling his BC, I also think it can fit in first gen. If I didn't get my racelands, I would have gone for bc. I don't recommend racelands if you drive with passengers who haven't been in a stiff ride because they won't like it at all.

On the other hand, my front driver side is making noise, hollow noise. It occurs over small bumps when I let go of the gas from a stop. Sound is not there when I step on the gas or am going over 20kmh. Maybe it could be my brakes but I have heard of stories about binding and bearings. I'm almost 5000km on these. If anyone wants to pm me about this pm me as I don't want to fully jack the thread.

Forgot to add : KWs are stainless steel. That was my main reason for spending the few extra bucks

yup im on kws too, in all honest the ride between my kws and my gfs racelands arnt much, since im set to full stiffness, it all depends on what your using them for, joys of kws, is they are stainless, you can track or stance, go low, fully adjustable and wouldnt change it for the world.. unless i was broke.. and need suspension.

if you have deep pockets go kw. trust everyone who has them love them and wouldnt go back, me GWN and sawatsky

I had KwV2's on my old 3, they were great. I sold them to midnightfxgt, who had them on until he finished his custom body work, and they were too low, and now schmatt has them..

Lol, we'll see how it is after my first winter. Should be fine though...probably getting it adjusted to the highest setting.

I'd advise taking them apart an anti-seizing the crap out of the sleeved portion.

Also, I have heard that the fitment for the 2nd gen 3s is not right for KWs.

Have to do customization to get them to fit correctly. I was looking into a set and backed off for that reason.

but really, H&Rs are good, amazing for handling if you are looking for that...not so much for slamming

or you could get ST coilovers.... made by KW. Almost exactly like the KW V1's ... just, they aren't stainless steel.
