love the paddleshift option! thats awesome. soo much in the gx, but they set it nice for the gs and gt. auto high beams which would be awesome.. sure would like to see how well that works in how it will measure light to know between the headlights and needing the high beams. but some awesome info!
Thanks jeff!!

What???? That's it????
Any news about a more powerfull engine? Specs are nice, but a 2.0T would be super to have!

dont think there will ever be a 2.0T. maybe a 2.5 in the next speed but havent heard anything about that being changed one way or the other yet. but who knows!

Skyactiv 2.5T would be nice, but I wonder how the super-high compression will play with a turbo?
No diesel that Mazda has been having the press come to BC to test drive? Even still the options list is quite rich

i think if they went 2.5T it wouldnt be a skyactive so it wont have high compression. just the larger engine size from the gts now with some better internals and more power. however it may have a higher compression then the speed now but i dont think its going to be close to the skyactive compression.
I'm actually digging the wagon. Hopefully it comes to NA

My only fear is that I'm sensing the downfall of "zoom zoom" they NEED to offer a V6 or a higher performance option. (diesel?)

I agree... pretty impressive specs... but I'm guessing the price will "move up" too...
BTW, what is Front Object Warning? Is that like a "collision alert" in sci-fi movies? :)
And, Smart City Brake Support?
Impressive

As revealed previously on Autonet.ca, the bad news is that Mazda Canada has no plans to sell the Mazda6 wagon here in the immediate future. However, the good news is that Mazda Canada’s Sandra LeMaitre has confirmed the company is bringing the SkyActiv diesel here in 2013.
Well HOT DAMN!!!

Euro-spec wise, the current diesel of choice for Mazda would be the 2.2 that pushes ~170hp & a whopping 310 pound feet of torque!

I'd be surprised if they get that motor into the 6 before 2014, but it still remains possible.
I'm hoping the Mazda 3 gets the diesel at some point for the next generation due ~2014-2015
