So i've got a little over $400 in PC points that i'd like to spend before I close the account. As you may know, you can use the points to buy gift cards for other stores and/or prepaid visa cards. Which of the option would you choose?

Item(s):
iPod nano + New running shoes + a PS3:

Rationale:
My 2nd gen ipod touch is dying, my jogging shoes are wearing out, and I haven't owned a console since NES

------------------------------

Item:
Dishwasher

Rationale:
I wash everything by hand right now. It's alright I guess since we don't really own that many dishes, but it'd be nice...

------------------------------

Item:
DSLR

Rationale:
Really no REAL need for it - this'd be kind of a frivolous purchase to replace a dying point-and-shoot

------------------------------

Item:
Save it to pay for mods on possible new car in the spring

Rationale:
Self-explanitory

------------------------------

Item:
Sell the cards at a discount (10-15%?), keep the cash

Rationale:
Extra little bit in savings would be nice I guess?

$400 gift card for the Stag Shop

edit: but a pre-paid visa card would be the better option since you can use it anywhere. gift cards for specific shops you are limited to that shop, unless its a mall gift card like the ones you can use at Cadillac Fairview malls

If you have something in mind to buy, say at future shop, buy a card for there. If not, get the visa cards. But keep in mind. Your 400 will turn into 375 ish by the time you get the cards.

Get the visa prepaid and use it to buy gas for the month. Its not much fun value. But who enjoys buying gas

I hate to say it but I agree. Maybe I'm too practical... maybe I'm just old. Make sure you get the Esso points so you can get a free car wash once you've spent the $400.

although it sucks washing dishes by hand, $400 is going to get you a mediocre dishwasher... let alone a high efficiency one.. go with the pre-paids!

There's an awesome deal on a Bosch (top rated) dishwasher going for just under $500 that i've been keeping an eye on...

Not much in the ways of "fun" but i'm sure my dishpan hands would thank me...

Edit: Speaking of house mods, we kinda need a water softener too I guess...

Hookers and Blow!

I would probably put it towards vehicle mods. But I'm young and stupid :)

doesnt seem like it to me...my gf rinses her dishes by hand so that they are pratically clean before putting it in the dish washer. Says if you don't then the food sticks on Not sure what the point is then
