There's apparently 3 different "levels" of Hero3 - only the "black" version apparently able to do 4K at 15fps

Where else would you find 4k in any camera for that cheap though? If anything it helps push the trend towards higher resolution which is good news for everyone :) I can't wait for 4k televisions/monitors!

Yeah the Black Edition is $399 on the US site, so in Canada it will probably be $450-475ish plus tax = not a little cheap camera that you don't care if it gets broken. :/

I can think there is a setting where it will auto record. Where to find it at discount.. where to find it.. hmm.. These camera's are crazy robust. Probably trade up by old gopro for a version 2 as well (since people will be dumping them).

It looks like the accessories (mounts, suctions cups) should work with them, It seems like backPacs should work too, It looks like the size difference of the new GoPro is that it's just thinner. Not %100 sure though.

Available November 9, they are already in the computers at Best Buy

The salesman was lazy at BB when I went to pick up a cage mount for my GoPro and told me to look it up on their computer. Sure enough, I saw the Hero 3 and since there were no new accessories available, one can assume that most, if not all the old accessories and mounts should still work.

$299.99(bare bones) and up is what they have them at AND they can be pre-ordered already.

Prices are listed on the Bestbuy.ca web site, each model is $50 more than US. So 199-299-399 = 249-349-449

Looks like the Hero2 is on for $299 at BB now, wonder if they will just sell what they have for stock and then carry the 3 only, since there are 3 models of it..

It looks like the Hero2 is the equivilant of the Silver edition, with no built in wifi.

It would be nice if they had a nice low price to clear out the Hero2.
