Re all,
Looking to do an alignment on my 2010 (will be going to Altech) and was wondering what the consensus was with regards to doing this before or after winter rubber is on. Is it preferred to do this with regular tires on the car or does it not matter anymore? I am all stock with no lowering or mods.
Thoughts?
TIA.

When was your last alignment done? Some places give free alignment checks to see if you even need one. But as for your question, im pretty sure it doesn't matter. Unless you had it lowered and changed to stock, or vice versa. Rule of thumb is, if you do any suspension work, you -should- get an alignment done afterwards.
Why are you doing an aligment? Did you hit a curb?

Unless you have vibrations or pulling - theres No need to do an alignment just because you're putting on winter tires.
Just make sure they are balanced.

No, I didn't hit a curb or other objects and I'm totally 2010 stock. Last alignment was about 1.5 yrs ago at MoT (free during initial 20k km's).
I am still running the crappy Turanza's and have a very minor pull with some off and on vibrations - balance is fine. Jimmy mentioned this as well. The idea was to get Altech to check and adjust just before or after putting my Gislaved's back on to minimize additional wear over the winter. I was just curious if I should align before or after. Will likely just go after based on feedback thus far.
