Rotors and pads are first year or 20,000km... Read your owners manual... It tells you everything you need to know about your warranty

Thank you Aris! Is this a common problem with mazda vehicles?

I replaced my front rotors and pads at 140,000km... The rotors warped.

The reason why it's only covered for the first 20,000km is cause it's a wear and read item... If your constantly slamming on the brakes then the pads will wear and or your rotors will warp... In other 90% of the time the driver wears or warps the rotors do your shit out of luck for warranty

mine are only 15k kilometers on it so i guess its a factory defect.

wear items normally dont become "defective" unless they are abused during use -

have you also serviced your calipers if you have had the vehicle over a year at your 12 month service?

shaking isnt normal of course but the squeaking during your fist brake is more common, the moisture builds up on the pads / rotors and goes away after the first use. it should squeak all the time and i only find mine will if its very wet / cold out.

Updates guys! Got my car back they replaced the front rotors. They found out some rust build up inside the rotors, I'm just wondering how is it possible to have a rust on the rotors. Bought the car brand new last December and only put 16 kms on it so for far.

Once you use the rotors. They will rust when sitting.

You mean on rainy days... They don't rust when it's dry out

Well mine still get slight rust even on dry days. Granted not much at, but it's still there. Maybe morning dew.
