Will the 16" OEM mazda 3 rims fit over the gen2 speed3 brakes? I know gen 1 speed3 owners use 16s for winter just wondering if 2nd gen speed3 can do the same?

some of the aftermarket 16s wont fit due to offset but usually will fit

Are you sure you understand the term OEM ? OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer, in this case Mazda.
Costco sells universal fit steelies, not Mazda specific steelies.

When you guys say gen2 you mean 2010+? What are the differences? I am wanting to upgrade my 2006 mz3 to the OEM BBK setup using mazdaspeed3 calipers and rotors.

Yes, Gen 1 is 04-09, Gen 2 is 10-13

No difference only that lower spec 3's of both gens use a smaller brake setup.

I am currently running Speed brakes with fd's.
